Ds1 5.5 has lots of habits like me. Short attention span, flitty, spontaneous(thats putting it nicely) rushes in a little(!) and so on.

I know these are my worst traits, but the thing is that they are the things that annoy me the most about him! ( I love him dearly Obv)

Well, dd's eyelash similarity to mine doesn't annoy me.

But I see what you mean. I guess her fussiness really does get to me and shows me what a nightmare I must have been as a child. My mom always reminds me of this. Food in particular. Whereas dp is and was a fantastic eater. Dd wants everything 'just so' and I'm like that but don't like other people who are so, well, 'anal.'
