The past week she has been waking (other than one night) once or twice (last night three times) and she'll be very upset not wanting to lay back down so she comes in with us which we don't mind as comforting her is important, and I'm not one for letting them CIO. I thought it was her teeth, she only has six, and I think it's a factor but maybe night terrors too? Anyone else?

She's my dd2, and I'm expecting dc3 in 12 weeks. She usually sleeps through it's just this past two weeks really..

I have noticed that she is more attached/koala bear in the day at the minute too some days. Will only want me. And more sensitive lately..

Separation anxiety?

Our DS will be 17 months this week - he's been the same all through October and has just started getting better in the last week or so. With him, it was certainly teething (got all teeth except the last four molars now and the first molars were haarrrd work) but we also had some night terrors where he was totally inconsolable.

I'm thinking there might also be some 'normal' nightmares chucked in and perhaps some growing pains too. He's still in a cot in our room (really need to get off my arse and sort his room as DS2 is due in 16 weeks) and I think me getting up to pee twice a night plus tossing and turning as I can't sleep is not helping matters!

He's been coming into bed with us for a cuddle and a feed and then usually settles back in his cot within 10 or 15 mins, but we have had the odd hour and a half of faffing about at 2am, which I'm not a fan of! If he's been very chewy in the day, we're giving him a dose of Calpol at night and might re-dose him when he wakes if it's long enough since the last dose and we think he's sore. So hard to tell, but it does seem to help.

I am regulalry chanting 'it's a phase, it'll pass' and it seems it might be...

so glad i read this (sorry!)
dd is 18m and sleep has been awful last 4/5 weeks. i am expecting dc2 in 12 weeks and i just keep thinking i am an idiot for getting pg again when my.toddler sleep is so inconsistent atm!!
dd wakes around 2-3am every night and will not go back to sleep. i bring her in with us but she faffs for ages and eventually falls asleep at 5am ish and we need to be up at 6am.
total nightmare. really hoping its a phase.....

I think it's a combination of constipation, teething, night terrors and just developmental stage? Hmm

She went to bed about 9pm, just woke up crying hysterically, wouldn't settle for dp, he tried massaging her tum, she let rip but still wanted me and went back to sleep. For how long...... I'm not so sure lol

I was told they go through a regressive sleep stage around 16-18 months. We haven't got there yet (and praying we won't!) but do you think it could be that?
