4yo suddenly bed-wetting?

Did has suddenly started wetting the bed, he was potty trained at 2.5 and was dry during the night just before turning 3
The only times he's wet during the night is when he's been a bit ill or had a lot to drink close to bedtime and hasn't been to toilet before bed
For the past few nights he's wet though, I've been along sure he goes to toilet before bed, no drinks after teatime and he drinks at least 4 sports bottles(children's one) of water/squash a day
I've asked him if there's anything worrying him in school but he says no and everything at home is the same as usual, he's not ill either
Any suggestions or ideas about what's causing this?

Does he usually wake in the night for a wee? It may just be that he is sleeping more deeply because he's getting so tired. Our reception children are visibly flagging as half term approaches. I'm just hoping the other Mums haven't planned too much. I think most of them just need to sleep for a week!

Id say he usually wakes through the night maybe once or twice a week but sometimes he will go for weeks without waking at all as long as he's been before bed
Do you think it's worth carrying him to the toilet before I go to bed?
He is quite tired after school so that possibly plays a part, I may make his bedtime a little earlier too

It is probably tiredness linked to school but you should rule out T1 diabetes in a child who suddenly bedwets if they also seem to be going to the loo loads in the day
