My 3yo LOVES the My Naughty Little Sister story about Bad Harry's birthday party, where they eat the trifle out of the larder

And the Emil stories by Astrid Lindgren.

God I remember that one about the larder - I was always so jealous of them!

there's a series about a girl called Kitty "I don't want to" "it's not fair" etc.

Pippi Longstocking is quite naughty.

mine particularly enjoy the Naughty little sister trifle story too.

The Worst Witch has some naughty trainee witches in it. a girl called Ethel who gets turned into a pig for being spiteful.

How old?

Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are" is a lovely (and in some ways quite emotionally deep) story about having been naughty and getting back in tune with yourself. Both of mine loved it from about 2 to 4ish.

For older, there's always Just William.

for a 3 year old, what about the little princess series. I want my dinner, I want my potty, I don't want to go to bed. etc.

We had a picture book in school called "No, David" about a little boy who keeps getting told off. Not many words (most pages just say No, David) but excellent pictures for discussing what he's doing that's naughty. It's nice, too, at the end when he looks sorry and the parent still loves him! It's by David Shannon and I think there are follow up stories - link to the amazon review here
