wet nappies at night

Hi. My 2 year old has started walking up with soaking nappies in the night - right through her pyjamas and sleeping bag. She has about 180 mils of milk before bed and no other fluids and is in night time nappies. Any ideas on what to do or why this might be happening?

Are the nappies the correct size? They shouldnt be leaking. I had this when ds was a baby and just changed brands. Sorry im no more help.

We had this. DD1 drinks alot. We had to change her when we went to bed. "upto" 12 hours dryness is what they claim. Not a chance for us.

2.7yo DD2 is like this if we put her in her nappy too soon before bed - i.e. if she has an early bath at around 6pm then by the time it's time for bed her nappy is quite full so we end up changing it. She has a small beaker of milk after bathtime. When you say nighttime nappies - do you mean those bedwetter ones or just normal nappies? Mine is in her usuall Pampers but in a size or 2 bigger than daytime (so 5+ instead of 4+/5).

Does she still have a bottle before bed? Give her milk with her tea and a drink of water before bed instead. I stopped bedtime bottle for this reason with dd2. They don't need it at 2.

My son is 3 and still has 9oz's of milk before bed, he is in lidl pull ups for bedtime and they never leak. What brand do you use? Because we have tried everything and always end up going back to lidl ones, also just check the nappy is totally dry before you put her down for the night.

This happened to us and we went up a nappy size (I think we're using 5 now). It's not really that the nappy is that much bigger, it's just more absorbent. What can also help is to put a waterproof outer over the nappy (like the ones used with reusable nappies), although only if the leaks happen near morning, if they happen in the middle of the night you definitely need a nappy with more absorbency.

My 20 month old boy has spent the last 2 weeks waking between 4 and 5 am with sodden nappies and bedding...Having to wash his duvet as well. I haven't increased his evening drinks and he will have prob 100ml water with supper at 5.30 and then 200ml milk before bed at 7.30. Have tried bigger nappies and other brands. Seems odd that suddenly he is producing more wee at night. Any other thoughts?
