Feed=sleep. Am I in for trouble?!

Hi all
As a new mum (6 week old with reflux) I'm finding this whole parenting thing bewildering! I've posted quite a bit on here as I'm clueless and I find the advice so helpful!
So I've got another question/worry...
While I'm trying to get my LO's reflux under control, she's not napping during the day other than the odd 15 mins here and there. I find that once it gets to her last feed, she's exhausted and I'm able to settle her quite easily as she tends to fall asleep while or just after feeding (ff)
However I've read that feeding should NOT be used to make the baby go to sleep, but I've just found that this happens no matter how much I try to avoid it. Am I in for trouble with a bad sleep association?!

With a small baby my mantra was to do whatever gets you through the day!
I wouldn't worry about compromising your childs ability to self settle just yet. Review your feeding/sleeping situation once your LO is a bit bigger.

The reflux will make your life and baby's harder. Feeding to sleep will be a good thing!
Many babies stop doing it naturally and others you can slowly persuade not too. So don't worry - your baby won't be doing it forever.

Feed to sleep! They eventually grow out of it. It's the best and quickest way to get them back to sleep in the middle of the night when you're back at work ft, still BFing and they're reverse cycling

I wouldn't worry about feed/sleep association at this age. My daughter was nursed, and slept in bed with me to make it easier for those 2, 3, and 4 am feedings as all I had to do was roll over, give her a nip, and we both went back to bed.

Ultimately, her sleep patterns were less disturbed that way than getting her out of bed, moving to rocker, etc which didn't work well at all the first two weeks, hence the switch to cosleeping.

Had no issues with her having to eat to sleep later on, as she weaned herself around 8 months and had no issues switching to her own bed during daytime naps, or eventually even at night once she was weaned.

My LO also has silent reflux (just diagnosed at 14 weeks!) and how I so so wish she would feed to sleep! It's such a nightmare putting her to sleep Hmm almost every nap/sleep time requires 30 min of walking up down, rocking etc as well as lots of cries from her! Hmm

I wish I knew where this don't feed to sleep twaddle came from.

Babies feed (FF or BF, I've had DDs that did both) and fall asleep. That's what babies do!
