2.5yo swearing! (Oops!)

Just after a bit of advice if possible! - My 2.5yo DS has started coming out with "F*'s Sake!" and completely in context!
How do I nip this in the bud?! - I'm not sure if I should ignore it completely hoping he'll soon forget about it or tell him off ("that's a naughty word, you don't say that" etc) and risk drawing more attention to it?
TIA for any words of wisdom! Thanks

Mine did this a bit. I just said, calmly, please don't say that darling, it's not a word for children.

He just stopped. I think if they get a reaction they're more likely to keep doing it. Keep it boring.

Watching with interest as ds 2.5 has taken to saying ' ahhhhhh shit man!!!!' Also perfectly in context. Note...I have never said this in my life, nor has do, a teenager in the line in front of us in the shop got id'd and said this rather loudly. I've heard it about 10 times a day since!!

DD3 when about 2.5 (she's now 6) was having a tantrum in the supermarket one day and DP and I were trying to carry on and do the shopping, both getting rather exasperated and terse as she carried on screaming. I asked him which toilet roll we should get and he just snapped "Oh, whatever, just get the cheap shit," whereupon DD3 screamed "NO! DON' WAN' THE DEAP DIT!!"

There was dead silence as every pair of eyes in the aisle turned towards us, and then everyone burst out laughing - including us, much to DD3's disgust.

DP is Australian so uses "fuck" as punctuation, but DD3 has been taught that it's a word you are only allowed to use when you're old enough to pay bills whereupon you use it quite a lot so apart from the odd swearword here and there at first, it's not been an issue.
