26 months and still not walking! :(

My dd is 26 months and still not walking!! She has been seen regularly by a paediatrician since 15 months.

She sat up at 7 months, bum shuffled at 17 months, learnt to crawl at 20 months and can pull to stand. She'll walk (if she's in a good mood) with her toy pushchair (no support.) And will hold hands and walk for ages with us. (Sometimes she'll even do it with one hand!)
She has always been able to weight bear. All other areas of her development are within a normal range!

She has had blood test/X-rays/MRI all clear. Is in regular contact with a physio who has said there appears to be nothing wrong with her??

So what else can I do, she is incredibly frustrated (not as much as me.) is whingey and miserable. I can't keep walking about with her, holding her hands because it hurts my back. I've been taking her to todder groups etc but she doesn't enjoys them and shrieks at the ther children. I think they frighten her because she's on a lower level to her and they are a bit unsteady on their feet.
Older children 3+ she loves!

When she's outside in the garden she just cries if I don't walk with her. I don't know how else I can encourage her. I feel she will never walk, maybe she can't and there's no reason why!

I'm running out of ideas! Any suggestions or has anyone been in a similar situation?

Well I'd be going back and pushing the physio for a walker for her (a medical walker like a Kayes) to enable her to be upright on a par with her peers until she does walk independently.
My son didn't walk until he was 26 months either.. he has low muscle tone and was very hypermobile, and needed orthopaedic boots to support his ankles.. but he did get there in the end.
Bum shufflers are notorious for being very late walkers and the good thing is if she is otherwise developmentally on track, and she can cruise, than it is VERY unlikely she won't walk, but I do know how frustrating it is.

My son is very dyspraxic but he gets around ok now:)
