After a month of being dry at night dd has started to wet the bed...

Dd is three in a couple of weeks and toilet trained in a couple if days at Easter. A few weeks later she stopped wearing nappies at night and was dry straight away.

Four out of the last five nights she has wet the bed. I can't think of any reason for it but we're not sure what to do. Should we just ride it out? Start taking her to the loo at about 11?

When she's dry she often doesn't go to the loo for at least an hour when she first gets up so I don't think she could be really, really desperate at 4 in the morning.

Any advice welcome!

Not much advice I'm afraid but watching carefully. Not sure if you remember but my DD was trained over the Easter weekend too. Complete success in the daytime, no accidents etc but we've not tried her at night yet. I'd say 4 out of 7 nights her nappy is dry so maybe it's time? She's 3 at the end of July. Sorry I'm not much help.

Also, my memory is not the best as it was 13 years ago but I seem to remember waking DD 1 & 2 and taking them to the toilet as I was going to bed at around 11/midnight.

Hi yes I do remember Smile I think it's that it's suddenly started happening for no apparent reason that makes it so frustrating! (Plus it's meaning I have to do a load of washing everyday!)

I'm going to give my DD another week I think and then try. Good luck and if all else fails here's some Wine Grin

Hmm I will take that wine in the hope it'll make 6mo ds sleep better Wink

Dp is going to take dd to the loo when he comes to bed so fx

DS always has lapses before coming down with some bug or other. It's often the first symptom. But he wasn't dry through the night until he was 4. I wouldn't be over-worried

I know someone who is now a parent herself whose DF woke her every night at 11 for the loo. She still wakes naturally to go, despite being 40

Thanks, she's been dry again the past two nights and we haven't woken her so just a blip I suppose! Smile
