This morning I left my phone on my bed while I went to make my 2 year old DS?s breakfast, I was only gone a second, but came back into the room to find him throwing it on the floor (not actually that hard) and he?d been dialling numbers e.t.c, I quickly grabbed the phone and my screen was completly cracked! I?ve no idea what the hell he did to it! My DP was sleeping in the bed, and didn?t hear him playing with it! So I was one unhappy mummy this morning, 139.00 later I have a new iphone which the apple store have replaced for me. I know it was my fault for leaving the phone around, but didn?t expect to find it in the state it was!

Ds and friend aged just 8 used new iPad to make some rather interesting videos of themselves. Since they are so IT savvy my first reaction was to check they hadn't uploaded them to YouTube. Fortunately they hadn't. But they still go pale when reminded since I also told them I had sent them to friend's Dad's iPad.

Ds emptied about 10large bottles of paint onto my dads carpet about a week after the very expensive carpet had been fitted. He did it on purpose and was nearly4 I think so should have known better.

Ds2 put a full toilet roll down the toilet and pulled the flush. The bathroom was flooded, and it took about 2 weeks for the bathroom floor and living room ceiling to dry out.

Ds1 is now 17 and I've had a few rows with him that have resulted in him punching and breaking the living room door. On 2 separate occasions.

So it doesn't get any betterHmm

We have white footprints in white paint going up the side of our door...

Only thing is that was me Blush

I still think it is funny. Dh doesn't, but it won't come off Oops.

DD1 when aged 5 drew on DD2s tongue in black felt tip.

DD2 aged 4 did green Christmas themed stamps all over our newly decorated hallway. Ciff removed it all eventually.

Neither thing was expected. Both acts were out of character. And very funny.

An entire box of shreddies over the floor, followed by my spice jars, one at a time. Goodness only knows how none of them broke! When I saw it and made my surprise clear (!) the response was ' no worry mama, it only shreddies!'

Dd2 hid her dinner (mulligatawny soup) in a pretty decorated ceramic dish on the piano because she didn't like it. I lifted the lid 6 months later. It was vile!

DD1 cut DD2's hair. My fault for leaving the scissors out- I was just relieved shed not had a eye out.
DS put his porridge in my handbag. His first day at school and mine ata new job Confused

NotGoodNotBad · 20/05/2013 22:07

Porridge in your handbag, oh that's a good one. Grin

GeorgianMumto5 · 20/05/2013 22:14

Mine have yet to do anything awful. When they finally do, it'll be eye-poppingly bad, won't it?

I got up to all sorts as a child. I hope they turn out to have more sense.

Suttyshotty · 20/05/2013 22:20

Painted the carpet red. Then tried to deny it, despite being caught literally red handed! Thankfully it was at granny's so no lasting damage, although even she told off the grandchild who can do no wrong Wink
