I feel I should be doing more to help dd's development. Can anyone recommend a good website with ideas for activities to do at home? We go out a lot but when we are at home she plays with her toys. I don't want to stop that but would like to do some basic craft and baking and also help her with numbers and letters

Gosh, I'm not convinced she needs much structured learning at age two. Maybe I'm just a sloppy mum!

Certainly not numbers and letters - colours and shapes maybe?

The imagination tree has some nice ideas, though maybe not as structured towards learning as you're thinking of.

When she's 2.5 your dd could most likely go to the local playgroup so it might be worth lpoking into that. My dd is almost three and has been going to playgroup for about eight months and has learnt loads there. Though mainly things like songs, shapes, colours, and manners and social skills!
