Breastfed dd now a vampire!

My 10 month old dd is bf and has recently gained her first two teeth (standard, bottom middle). As pleased as I am they're through, my nipples are not so chuffed :o DD finds it hilarious to have a nice chomp on them and pulls away to check my reaction (which is an internal ouch as I try my v hardest not to react cos I know that's what she wants).
Anyone have any tips for stopping or discouraging her from biting me? I defo want to continue BFing until she's 12/13 months.

When ds but I yelled a loud (involuntary) "No!" He looked all sad and wobbly lipped and had to have a reassuring cuddle, but he hadn't done it since. Afraid it hurt when he got his top teeth too though.

Also watch out for losing interest and unlatch promptly so you don't get a quick nip and if you can feel her teeth unlatch and reposition her.

I just said a firm and removed my nipple from baby's mouth. That's all I needed. When the teeth are growing though, sometimes they do it by accident I think as they need to adjust position a little bit. Don't worry, it's a short phase.

I had this problem too, the two main thing I did were either stop feeding as soon as DS bit me and put him down on the floor and told him NO it hurts.
Also keeping a close eye on how he was feeding was really important as soon as he had slowed down and seemed less interested that was when he would bite so I tried to disconnect before that happened.
