Best nappies for new walkers?

My 14mo DS always wears Pampers Babydry. He has just started walking and I've noticed when he is running around naked trying not to get in the bath he walks a lot easier than in his nappies! Is it worth buying Active Fit (you get fewer nappies in a box so it works out more expensive) or another brand to see if he can move more easily in them?

they all have different shaped bodies, so yes, do shop around to see what fits best

(image of him running faster without nappies made me giggle!Grin)

We use baby dry at night and active fit during the day - they're definitley thinner and imo better for toddling DTs.

Baby active were my favorite, but they changed them in September last year and they are now very, very soft when wet, in one hour they look as they would explode, but when you take it off is almost dry, so we use baby dry now, much better. Do not like Huggies, hard as cast. Never tried supermarkets brands so can't comment, but there is a products treads on MN, check it out.

With DC1 I was loyal to Pampers and did ActiveFit daytime and Baby Dry at night time religiously. No nappy rash ever and hardly any leakage.DC2 wears any brand I happen to have bought, mainly Asda or Boots and as long as the size is right I honestly can't say I've noticed any difference (except in price). The only ones I've used where I noticed anything negative were some ecofriendly ones from Waitrose that were not v absorbent.

I used to always use Pampers baby dry day and night, but when DS learned to walk and I started to use ActiveFit for daytime, I noticed they leaked and smelled Blush. Someone then told me about Asda's own brand nappies and I bought a pack to try and never looked back. I buy the ones that are equivalent to ActiveFit and now DS even wears them in the night. No leakages or smells and DS is happy and running around. And they're half the price! DS is 21 months btw..

I switched to easy ups when DS started walking, they're easier to put on & fit better than the normal nappies.
