Is it ok for my 9wo dd to sleep with a muslin on her face?

She is quite a sicky baby and is think is becoming attached to her muslins and comfort objects seeing as she has them tucked under her chin during and after every feed.

I have just settled her in her Moses basket and the muslin got stuck under one of her arms as I was laying her down. It is just resting against her cheek at the moment but I am worried that if I leave it there it might end up over her face.

But if I try to move it she might wake up after having taken about five hours to get to sleep

What should I do???

Sorry for all the typos. I am apparently knackered Grin

I think it's ok - they're breathable fabric

I think for your own reassurance you'll need to gently remove it from her, otherwise you won't sleep worrying about it. Hope it works out. I remember that stage very well, and it's exhausting. Good luck.

Personally I wouldn't. I had pukers and just used to smoothe the mussies put flat, or tuck them around the Moses basket mattress.
For another day if she likes it as a comforter maybe if you tie one with a few knots? Also handy as an improvised puppet! Grin

Ha ha! Ok I will try to gently peel it away. I don't rate the chance of her staying asleep though. She is already very wriggly!

Here goes...
