How to get 11 month old to sleep through the night?

He has a proper meal before bed + his usual milk. But still he wakes up basically every 2-3 hours every night.

During the night he drinks about 120-160 ml of milk everytime he wakes up.
So to me it looks like he is constantly hungry.

He is a very active baby. Walking and busy all day long.

Maybe this is just normal to him. His brother slept through the night from 7 month old.

Perhaps he is hungry. Maybe more food during the day.? But some children just do wake up in the night for a long time and perhaps you should start not feeding him when he does wake. Just give him a dummy.

He never used a dummy.

Could you up his food in the day? A friend had success by offering smaller meals more often and her dd started sleeping through.

Try googling askdrsears foods for sleep and askdrsears 31 ways to get your baby to sleep Smile

He didn't have any nap in the afternoon and he slept so nicely during the night. Only woke up once.

I recommend this to other mummies too.

Sandra, do you mean he had no nap at all during the day?

Hi
Firstly how does he get to sleep at the start of the night? doed he self settle without props and without you with him?
Secondly, what do you do when he wakes? have you tried leaving him and what happens? He may ne genuinely hungry as he is so used to having so much milk at night so you need to try to break this pattern...
And how long ago did he drop his naps? he could be overtired at night so finding it hard to stay asleep...always a possibility. 11mo is quite yound to have no naps. Dd doesn't need masses of naps, never has, but still has 30mins 5 days out of 7 even at 2.5
