DTs had their MMR jabs in August so were due for the boosters in November but at least one of them has been low level ill since then. Does anyone know if it can become too late for the booster and we will have to start again? GP receptionist didn't seem to know?

Thanks

what age are they? MMR is usually given around 13 months and then around 3y 4 months

Theyre 16 months Dishwasher, had the MMR at 13 months and got told we need a booster 3 months later. I'm off to check that now!

Maybe you have high levels of one of them in your area and that's why they want to give the doses so close together. There is normally a couple of years between doses so don't worry about not getting them just yet as you have plenty of time. The booster is the same as the original jab but covers any children that weren't fully protected by the first jab.
