(*how to use!)

Nightynight · 22/03/2006 20:27

sorry stoppin..............but Grinlol at your ds!

Buy the game new in the shops, pretend his 400 000 pound bid was successful, and take it from his pocket money for the next 200 000 years.

He is obviously destined to be a software engineer or possibly a high-flying financier. But meanwhile, I'd put a password on the computer. You can set up a special user account for him, where he cant go on the internet.

weeks, obviously, not years

at least it's nt just my 7 year old then! recent episodes have been spraying my best perfume all over bathroom and cutting whacking great hole out of jumper during a cutting and pasting session at school!

desperateSCOUSEwife · 29/03/2006 14:01

it is funny at what your ds has done
but i would really start laying the law down
if he knows how to bid on ebay
surely he will know right from wrong
and be able to face consequences of his actions

maybe next time it wont be so funny iykwim

stoppinattwo · 29/03/2006 15:02

He was absolutely gutted when he realised what he had done and was offering to flog his existing games to pay me back,........... felt quite sorry for him in the end because i just think that in the heat of the moment he was bitten by the bidding bug, i guess he will never ever do it again, didnt even need to shout or nuffin. as for DD she has got absolutely no consience whatsoever and is just too cheeky. Dont know what im going to do with her, she has concept of right and wrong but that all goes out the window when she wants something.!! ............. dont think she'll cut my clothes up in a hurry again tho Grin

I had been logged in because i was seeling some items, and went upstairs to put DD to bed so he didnt know my pass word, normally his internet visits are supervised but the opportunity was there, dont think he'd planned it, just got carried away, got to smile about it now Smile

I love Nighty's suggestion!!! Grin

He must be pretty clever to figure it out. You have to sympathise with the temptation, though, competition + shopping is a pretty powerful combination (as I am sure many on here would attest!)

Can you change your pass-word?
love that suggestion, Nightynight Smile
