Whip them and lock them in the shed. It's the only way.

At the moment, the only thing that works with DS2 is to threaten to take away all the birthday presents from his party that he has yet to open (has to write a thank you before opening the next present - marvellous delaying tactic!)

take their toys away!!! DD hates that.

If misbehaving for every time she repeats I take another toy away, till she stops..... Most I had to take one day was 5....

Oh and she has to earn them back with good behaviour Grin

My dd is 5 and also testing the waters at the minute.
She is lovely most of the time and then has these moods where she's out to wing me up. The thing that realy gets to me is constant back chatting and cheek. I just won't have it.
At the moment it's still working to say no T.V tonight. She knows i'll follow through so when i warn her, if she carries on she's had it.
Also if i sulk. I mean be really petty and when she gets round to noticing, then i tell her how annoying and upsetting it is to be arguing with her all the time when i love her. That usually shuts her up for a day or two!

She does make me laugh though! I am terrified of the teenage angst i'll have with her Shock

alliebaba · 23/03/2006 21:19

Shock naughty but very clever though! ds is like kevin and perry style character, flopping about everywhere sulking
