To nap or not to nap?

Dd is 2.5 and would still nap for over 2hrs if I let her. I have been waking her after 60-90mins. She is a right grumpy madam and won't talk to me for about half an hour after I wake her up. Should I just let her sleep for as long as she wanta or limit her naps? She sleeps from about 7-6.30 but I think she would sleep later if ds didn't wake her up. Her napping doesn't have a huge impact on her nighttime sleep, maybe delaying the time she falls asleep for around 30mins. Not sure if I should stop her napping yet?

If it isn't bothering her night time sleep I would leave her. My eldest napped until she was three and half and then all of a sudden wouldn't go to sleep at night till gone nine. Then I stopped it and stuck her in front of the telly for two hours instead

Let her nap. When you do wake her early, give her a snack.

Am all for napping. My DD is almost 3 and becomes unbearable if she doesn't have a nap. She went on nap strike for two months this summer and was miserable every evening. Finally back onto napping and she's a much happier little girl.

The only time frame thing I stick to is a 4pm cut off so that I know she'll go to bed at the right time in the evening (7:30pm ish).

Forgot to mention - when I tested letting her nap until she woke up on her own, she ended up going to bed intolerably late in the evening. She'd allow us to go through the normal bedtime routine at the right time, but then would sit in her crib in the dark singing as loud as pos, shouting, crying, or trying any other tricks to get us to come back into her room. If I make sure to wake her before 4, she goes to bed like an angel.

What time does her nap start? Maybe try putting her down at 11.45 or so after lunch so she can sleep as long as she wants without interfering with her evening sleep. I don't believe in stopping napping as long as they're willing to continue!
