Babies voice development

I have 10 week old twin boys and one of their crys seems to have change tone and he is a bit husky. I can differentiate between crys for food, attention etc so it isn't that but I am not sure if he just has a sore throat from crying. Do babies voices/crys change as they get older?

I didn't notice it as early as 10 weeks but ds (5 months) has changed his 'tired' cry a couple of times over the lst couple of months. I think they do generally change as they get older but i suppose it could also be due to a sore throat. Sorry if thats not much help.

Sorry that should be 'last couple of months'

lol belgianbun, ds as also just discovered the shrieking thing. Happened quite suddenly, at first we though there was something wrong/he was in pain or something. He also thinks it's funny and so do we except when it's at 5.30 in the morning!!

Thanks for the advice I will keep and eye on him and see what develops.

Belgianbun - I am very lucky to have two contented little ones although they are becoming more demanding as they are awake a lot more during the day and therefore need stimulating. I am getting to know all the CBEEBIES programmes to sing along to, I quite like Tikkabilla & Balamory!!
