Is it true fussiness reduces (if only slightly) after 3 months?

My dd is 9 weeks and is a bit of a little fusspot. She cries alot during the day and is rarely comforted unless cuddled- which is fine most of the time but i have a 6 year old disabled son thatis fully dependant on me so he needs me too.

it will be nice once she enters a more contented phase so i can see to my son without her screaming the house down.

I know this is typical baby behaviour but hoping maybe she'll be a little more content in herself in time? wanted reassurance if anything.

DD was likethis. I called her my ticking time bomb, always ready to go off. I don't remember it being a magic switch but things did get easier from three months and just kept getting better as she chilled out. Hang in there, it will improve.

They usually improve, but also I think partly you learn better coping strategies. If she wants holding constantly, have your tried her in a sling? Have you tried swaddling and white noise?
