DS is e pressing interest in toilets so thought if get him a potty to leave in the bathroom so as he expresses interest in potty training it's familiar
He's young now but in toddler room where he sees them
Then I looked and had no idea people spent anything from £1 ikea to about 35!!
Is it worth getting something with er features??
Given it will only be pee poo......
Thanks

Some are smaller than others. The Ikea one was too small for OS's bottom when he potty trained at 2.6. He desperately wanted one with Tombliboos on too - found one in Mothercare catalogue, ordered without ever having seen it irl and it is v small indeed. DS mostly used a cheap £2 job from local chemist and then a potty seat, but now mainly uses the toilet with a seat insert by himself. When DD is old enough, I'm considering skipping potties and going straight for the toilet.

Some potties have a 'girl way round' and a 'boy way round'. I don't know anyone who has actually used a potty with extra features.

I bought a penguin toilet seat. £16 i think. Worth every bloody penny!

Ds wouldn't use a potty .

I bought a cheap one and he wouldn't fit in it! So I ended up getting a cushioned expensive potty where the seat is flat and can be used as a toilet seat. He loves it. But if your toddler is not on the chubby side like mine, probably not worth it!
