Non-reclining buggy. What age?

What age can a baby go in an upright, non-reclineable buggy? DH wants me to swap my phil and teds for a bike trailer, but I'm not convinced. I think dd still needs the option to lie flat. What are your thoughts?

They say 6 months for. By then your baby might not be sitting up but would still be ok sitting upright-ish if strapped in firmly. Not sure about a bike trailer though as I've got no experience.

Thanks, that's what I thought. DH wants to take her out on the bike trailer despite her being younger than the age stated in the warnings and that she can't sit yet. I've refused and he's now complaining I've ruined our weekend because we can't do what he'd planned. He then said I should carry her in the sling whilst on the bike Hmm

Our bike trailer has a baby attatchment that you can buy extra to put in, so that tve baby can lie down. Depends on your DCs age and your budget etc. but could be worth it for enjoying some bike rides together?

Yes, you can do that for the chariot trailers, but it specifically says you mustn't use it whilst cycling. Only for use as a buggy.

If she was sitting unsupported but was under the age recommendation I'd probably go for it. Try to explain to your DH how would you feel if something happened, if you went over a bump and she fell out, or her neck twisted badly or something? And you could literally only blame yourselves, the manufacturers have already told you not to use it!

I'm sure I saw one somewhere that you can put the car seat into (was shopping around before taking DS to Centre Parks when he was smaller).
