What a nasty trick. Id ask the school to keep an eye out, and if it happened again, Id speak to the child in question myself, or her mother. Why not also have a chat with your dd about what she can say to the other girl if she ever does anything like that again?

I'd feel uneasy about that too. It's a nasty thing to do and would have humiliated your DD if she had pulled them right down.

I'd speak to school.

dd1 says the girl was giving her a hug. i have told dd1 if it happens again toi tell the teacher. it was not an accident, and for the child to do this she will have had to lift up dd1 dress.

Sad poor dd, definately tell the teacher - how awful!

Kids do this though - unless there is anything else about it?

misdee · 10/03/2006 19:14

i dont know if there is more to it, just feel bad that some child actually put her hands under dd1 dress and tried to pull her knickers and tights down.

I would definatley mention it to school. Always best to keep a check on these things. My little brother had a bruise down below and obviously quite worrying for my parents. They went to the school and it turns out a boy was bullying him and kicked and hit him quite a lot. it is sorted now but not nice at the time. :(
