Could you recommend me a good private speech and language therapist in the west midlands?

My DD is 7.5 and it's starting to become apparent that she's not growing out of her speech issues. He school have told me that while they will refer her that we ought to be prepared for them to say they can't do anything for her due to the cuts. (bastard tories!). Apparently there are children that can't speek at the school being refused help! Thankfully DD can speak but has problems with T's and R's.

So we are hoping to go the private route. Does anyone here have any recommendations?

Don't give up hope re: NHS treatment - we are in the East Midlands and my son has an intermittent stammer but was referred and quickly started seeing a SALT on the NHS, who is fab. When his stammer was worse, he was seeing her once a fortnight, but now it is less severe we just go for reviews about once a term. Being a bit pushy tends to help with referrals - ie your GP might not suggest it, but if you ask for a referral, you may be able to get one. I certainly found that to be the case - it was me who pushed for a diagnosis (for other issues DS1 has) because the professionals, whilst they all thought diagnosing was a good idea, couldn't get it together to have a multi-agency meeting so I organised one!
