What's the worst thing your DC has handed you/ eaten?

I ask because DD (18m) handed me something flobbery yesterday ... the entrails of something the cat had brought in earlier. And from the way she was licking her lips, I think it had gone straight into the mouth.

Please reassure me that social services won't be round immediately and this kind of thing happens a lot!

(Cat doesn't leave bowels around very often and it must have been very fresh, I hasten to add).

DD2 has eaten ladybirds, worms, woodlice, various non-edible plants (willow leaves anyone?), chews on gravel, drinks from the watering can, likes bathing her teddies in the toilet, and a few days ago she proudly handed me a crusty old dog poo she'd found (ew ew ew). She is a very good and adventurous eater, is rarely seen without some kind of muddyness/food/general grime somewhere on her (don't know how she does it!), and has barely had a day of illness.

DD1 is fastidiously clean, is the fussiest eater, and comes down with every bug that's going around at preschool, poor wee thing. But the fact that she's never presented me with a dog poo wins hands down Grin

This has made me chuckle so much. Our for lunch the other day and my dd was on the floor and picked up and ate some food she had dropped earlier. My 'childless' friends were shocked that I didn't react and take it off her, I just said 'she's eaten worse' ... Little do they know!!
