13 month old stopped eating

My ds is 13 months old and since weaning him at 6 months (exclusively breastfed until then) he has eaten brilliantly - everything we put in front of him and good portions. (we have had a few issues getting him to swallow lumpy food, and he has been referred for a swallowing assessment with speech and language) he has always had good portions also.
recently he had a bad bought of tonsilitis and had penicillin for this that worked well, however for that last week he has been refusing to eat anything. im lucky if i can get him to eat half a piece of bread and butter, or a few spoonfuls of dinner. I have stopped giving him snacks in an attempt to make him hungry for lunch and dinner, but makes no difference. I think he has also lost a bit of weight!
Help! any advice would be gratefully recieved.

teething or a continued sore throat

children also do get choosy about their food after about a year old, its part of learning they can make decisions and choices

what is his milk intake like?

Around a year they do eat less. Google "toddler diet". It's a humorous take on things. Expect more of this. Grin

i wondered if his throat was still a bit sore, as he sometimes winces when he has his first drink of the day - but then he ooes sleep with his mouth wide open!!
milk wise he has 5 ozs in the mornings and 7 before bed and is still taking this ok. he did have afternoon milk, but i dropped this on his first birthday and swapped it for an afternoon snack. now im wondering if i should put it back in so at least he is haveing some nutrients! he is on organic formula now. i wanted to keep breastfeeding, but at 9 months old he had other ideas and decided he didnt want to any more :(

Don't sweat it too much, they eat/drink a lot in the first year as they are growing do much. That will slow now. Someone told me if they kept growing at the rate they do in the first year that by the time they are 3 they'd be the size of a 10 year old.

DS has hungry days/weeks & then days/weeks when he appears to photosynthesis.
