Uh oh

Completely trivial really but just wondering if anyone else's toddler gets stuck in the 'uh oh' loop. Mine seems to especially when something is dropped or she can't reach or get to something. At bath time today she was nappy-less and weed (wee'd?) and started her little panicking uh oh's.

I'm not worried (aside from the slightly comical pfb mother guilt- have I created a worrier! Ha) or anything she's only 16 months but just curious to see if this is a standard phase.

DS got stuck on 'o dear' for a while. I worried other people would think that was all I said all day!

I don't even say uh oh - well I didn't until she started. She must have picked it up at nursery.
I just hope she grows out of the uh-ohing at ever little spec of dirt on her hands and things not being where she wants. It's really unlike both me an DH.
I'm sure in few months when she's traipsing mud everywhere I'll laugh at that though.

DD's is 'Oh look!' Oh look!, Oh look!, Oh look!, Oh look! ad infinitum.

Yep, can relate to all these. 18mo DS began with "uh-oh" before moving onto "Oh look!" and then "Oh no!" And now back to "uh-oh" again.

Yep, we get uh- oh when there's a loud noise or someone drops something. Dd has also said it to strangers who have dropped something in a supermarket etc. It's quite funny.
