Which book about toddlers should I read as a Dr Sears' Baby Book-lover?

DS is nearly 1 and I know nothing about toddlers. TBH, after years of fertility problems, I avoided children quite a lot. I am a Dr Sears fan, still b-feeding and co-sleeping, but don't use a sling much. Watching him and comparing with others at playgroup, I suspect DS might be at the boisterous end of the baby-spectrum. I've heard of Toddler Taming and How to Talk, are either of them useful?

Dr Sears' 'Behaviour Book' is a good follow up.

We have 'how to talk', it does look very good and I'm trying to use some of the ideas in it but I think it will come into its own in a couple of years when dd can talk enough to hold a conversation (only 14 mo at the moment). The Sears Behaviour Book is good. 'Playful Parenting' is a good one too, again for slightly older toddlers but I am using some ideas from there too.

Oh and do you have a La Leche League group near you? Our local one has 'toddler meetings' and they're fantastic :-)

Great, thanks. I didn't realise Dr Sears had a follow-up! Will buy that. There's no la leche league group near me, unfortunately.
