Advice on my 6 month old's eating habits

Hi ladies, would really appreciate some advice. My DS has been going through lots of milestones lately. So having slept through from his dream feed till 7am, four weeks ago he started waking up a lot through the night. He's rolling and trying to crawl, teething very badly and getting more and more curious. So I just continued with our routine and just tried to perservere.

In the last week, he's slowly returning to normal sleepwise, but he's now not eating very much during the day particularly first thing in the morning. I'm lucky if I get 2 ounces out of him and he gets upset if I try and force it. Yet he'll eat 8 ounces before bed and around 7 ounces at 11/12am. Do you think it's his teeth, or should I just try and relax and he'll eat if he's hungry. I've started weaning in the last few weeks and getting slightly obsessed he's not getting enough as he's always been quite small, he's still in the 0.4 percentile.
A friend suggested that I should drop his night feed but he obviously needs it if he's eating it all? Maybe he's just not a breakfasty type of person!

Aghhhhhhhhh!

I wouldn't worry, dd never drank her milk and although I worried at the time (due to stupid HVs) I now know I shouldn't have. He will eat if he's hungry, only worry if he starts to lose weight.

Dd always goes off her food when she's teething Smile

Breathe... And relax!

My DS has just come through a fussy spell, although as he's a big lad I don't have to worry too much about his weight. Once he was up to three 'meals' a day, I dropped his night milk in favour of water. The way I figured, if I woke up at 2am for a roast dinner, I'd soon be waking up hungry at 2am every day, so the only way to wean DS off the milk was to stop giving it. Worked for me!
