not sure what the issue is; dd2 generally pretty easy baby, well-tempered, fairly good sleeper, mostly easy to settle. Since Sat she has turned into velcro baby - will not be put down, will not sleep on her own, hands constantly in mouth (and waking her up; escapes swaddle). We are knackered (also have 3 yo). What is it? teeth? sleep regression (whatever that is), or is it a response to heavy duty antibiotics for mastitis - these started on Friday, and she has been a challenge since Sunday...ideas? an explanation would help us cope as I am sure we just have to bite down and get through it.

She is fine if held - unfortunately sling/baby bjorn not an option

thanks for reading

I think there's a big developmental spurt around 15 weeks (dd is 15 weeks and I've noticed some of this but luckily a sling is an option for us).

It should pass then the next one comes along

Am feeling guilty as you've reminded me of this as I've got incredibly wound up trying to get dd to sleep (she's with DH screaming now)

Mine seems to be too. Cries a lot more as well. I assumed it was some kind of development spurt or something. The hands are constantly in mouth or attempting to grab. She seems a lot more alert in general. I. Know it's too early for separation anxiety but sle does seem to get more worked up if she is left . Sigh .
