Dummy Hell

Im having a complete dummy nightmare.
My 11 week old twins are getting fussy so I give them a dummy and they continue to fuss and cry then it falls out and they cry so I put it back they suck for a while then they start to cry again. I just don't know what to do. Plus I am literally putting dummies back in mouths every 10 mins!
I don't know whether to bite the bullet and do away with the dummies. I know it will be a nightmare initially........ Confused

are they fussy just at sleep time or generally getting fussy? is it poss that they are still hungry or maybe over tired?

Are they crying for a cuddle?

I really don't know. It just seems to be all the time. I'll feed them, wind them and if they're tired put them in their travel cot. Sometimes I'll pick them up for a cuddle and they'll calm down but as soon as I put them down again they start to cry inconsolably. I don't think they're hungry. I spend about an hour feeding them both. I take my time and when they are starting to finish and get tired I still offer the bottle. Nighttime they're not interested in the dummy at all and like I say they constantly spit it out but then they start crying but like I say I'll pop it back in their mouths and they'll still cry.

I'm sorry op but it sounds like they are normal eleven week old babies who just want to be near their mum, not a rubber teat. Also they need help settling to sleep. Can you rock or stroke them to sleep? Must be soooo hard with twinsSad
