We are moving far away, to a remote location and will not have a TV, so I want to buy DD some DVDs so that she can watch them on the lap top occasionally. I don't want her completley isolated from children's TV! Any recommendations. We don't have a TV at the moment, and we don't live in the UK so she hasn't seen anything yet! thanks

DD liked Maisy Mouse and Peppa Pig best at that age.

Cbeebies do a lot of compilation DVDs

mickey mouse clubhouse is good to teach counting. Peppa pig is good for learning words. show me show me is good for the imagination. Will you have freeview? they have a channel called citv which is okay. Go to your local charity shops they always sell kids dvds cheap.

I have never met a kid that age who doesn't LOVE The Wiggles. Age appropriate, great music, colourful and educational.

I love 'fun song factory' as its songs that you actually know, like wheels on the bus and London bridge is falling down.

I recently bought my son a Kipper (the dog) DVD on the basis of the 50 or so 5 star reviews it had on Amazon. He loves it! And so do I.

My 12mo and 3yo both love the Baby Einstein DVDs. There are loads of them to choose from.
