My 5 year old tomboy has no waste I cannot find any trousers to stay up I've tried everything & she won't consider dressess/skirts. Anyone have the same problem or can suggest somthing?

Boden trousers are good for the skinny child. They have a sale on ATM.

Would she consider leggings?

Next and Tesco do trousers with adjustable eleastic waistbands. I have a tall, skinny ex tomboy. She has gone t'other way recently and tells me jeans are only for boys, however she still has a penchant for climbing trees and getting muddy Hmm. We find leggings and tunics to be a good compromise.

Thanks for the tips I'll give leggings a go, its not that she's skinny she's a broad all muscle kind of girl just has no hips or waist! Reckon school would accept leggings?

You can get those jeggings and treggings (wtf?) type things now that look like trousers but are made from legging materials and have the same elasticated waistband, perhaps somthing like that would do for school?
