7 month old refuses bottle

My dd is 7 months old now and she is on 3 meals each day plus bedstead in between. When dd was first born I used to express milk to give her a bottle when out and about as I was too embarrassed to breastfeed in public, I soon grew out of that and there was no need to give bottles any more. However, I am returning to work in May and don't want to be breastfeeding then and would like my dd to have formula when necessary and not breast. The big problem is that she will not take a bottle, she simply plays with the teet in her mouth. Does anyone have any advice on how to get her to have a bottle? I don't really want to have to express either because that will mean me fitting something else into my already very busy day!!!

She is old enough to have her milk in a cup rather than a bottle....this might help the playing.

If she is a good eater she may need far less milk than other babies of the same age.one of mine virtually gave up milk by 9 months but ate well and liked other dairy. She is 10 now and has never had any problems....DD3 was the reverse, didn't really love food untill well beyond her 1st birthday and drank more (tho not as much as I would have liked!).

If you are returning to work in May I would not really expect her to need to have a bottle at all (although I know many people persevere with one because the children like it especially at night) she will be 12 months and fully able to drink from a cup.

You've done really well with BFing to now and solid food. If i were you I'd continue BFing for a while unless you need/want to stop and then gradually wean her off as you come up to working.
