Activities for 2-year-olds?

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I may be starting a new position soon as lead teacher of a 2-year-old room. I'm mostly experienced with newborns up to 18 months so this will be a bit different for me and I'm a little rusty!

What activities do your 2-year-olds really love to do, and keep their attention? Do you think they would like it as well if there were 6 others doing it at the same time?

I'm thinking sand / water play, music and dancing, play dough, colouring / painting, and toys - but are there any little games you play or anything else they really like?

Thanks for any responses!!

Small world play - farm sets, dolls' house etc. Dressing up and lots of role play.

Trains, tractors, cars, jigsaws, colouring, cooking, housework. He's only 23 m.o. though so dressing up and role play are yet to develop.

He'd hate it if there were 6 others doing it at the same time but he is scared of other children (and some adults).

my 25m loves it at toddler groups when we sit in a circle and someone leads songs! especially those with actions that he can learn, like twinkle twinkle or sleeping bunnies (a particular favourite), little yellow tractor, dingle dangle scarecrow; others in the group like it when handed simple musical instruments to shake during a song.

I think mine plays little games at the CM (with 3 others of similar age), like a listening lotto game and orchard board games like 'tummy ache'. I imagine they have lots of supervision for that though!
