9 mo refusing food, drinking minimal milk, being clingy and wanting to sleep a lot

ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. We have been doing BLW and he was eating quite a lot at most meals but the last 2 weeks has been dropping food on floor, only eating a small amount. Last few days he has refused to eat anything at lunch and tea except a bit of fruit and yogurt. Breakfast is good, he eats most of it. We have gradually reduced bf down to once in the morning and he has been fine with bottles, but now only wants 2-3 oz or 5 oz at most three times per day. He's also been quite keen on clinging on and having cuddles and has been getting tired quickly, exhausted by bed time. Is this all normal or should I be worried?

Is he teething? Is his temperature normal? He might just be feeling a bit ill. As long as he is still eating some I wouldn't worry too much. Make sure he drinks lots of water.

It sounds like he could be a bit unwell, maybe just teething but I would see a gp. Has he had a fever or any immunisations recently? It could equally be a phase, separation anxiety if you're weaning of bf. Always best to trust your instincts and get him checked over if you're worried though. Hope things improve.

His temperature is normal and apart from tired-related grumpiness he seems cheerful enough. He has been teething but the bottom two are now through so I assumed we were clear of all those symptoms for a while. Thanks for the advice.

DS gets like this when ill even without a temperature.
