My DD is 9 months and doesn't crawl, infact she hates being on her tummy, always has done, she is walking if you hold her hands but just constantly wants to be up walking ALL the time, if she isn't she starts moaning and is unhappy (almost bored, even with toys) until we put her upright again.
Has anyone else had similar situation, any ideas on other ways to entertain her would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you all for your responses, it is nice to know that it is more common than you think!
Boredbuthappy, I completely understand how you feel, my DD was/is exactly the same, I suppose we need to think that all babies develop differently, have you tried a walker, we have one from Toys are us that is a rocker that turns into a walker and my DD loves it, that has saved me hours of standing with her!

Hey how is your baby now? At the off chance you see this! X

@Chzm you would probably need to do an @ to get the OP's attention, if they're still around after 13 years Wink

Sorry to butt in here, I am having the same issues with my son, he's 8 months old and will not tolerate being on his tummy whatsoever. He gets very bored, and I get very tired moving him around and doing his running around for him, iykwim, yet he shows no interest in figuring out a way to get himself moving. He has an activity centre and a door bouncer and loves them both and is happy to be held up in standing position. All his little mates his age are moving around, commando crawling, proper crawling, shuffling...he's not even managed to roll from back to front yet. Everyone keeps telling me not to worry, but it's hard not to worry when you see everyone elses' kids progressing and yours is literally sitting on his arse.

Hey how is your baby now? X
