at what age is it reasonable to expect an adult not to eat ALL the chocs?

And if you have more of a restrained approach is it reasonable to complain if you find them all gone? If they're in the house I have no restranit whatsoever. which pisses dh off. he expects to be able to go to the cupboard a week or more after buying some lovely choccy biscuits and still find some. Perhaps we should have his and her biscuit barrels.

must have been the mice

I don't even like chocolate that much but G&B's almond choc is divine. Dh cannot open a bar of that without eating the whole lot (I have to get in quick to get a bit of it!).

I've started buying those huge slabs of cadburys in my weekly shop because at least they tend to last longer than a few days.

I thought it was just me that ate chocolate behind the kitchen cupboard door

Embarrassing when one of your children asks you something though and your reply sounds like "Ufffmuuurrrffgggh hufffmuuupp guupppppuuuurg."

DH always eats the chocs in this house.
I do have restraint & tend to save mine which is a mistake as often I have gone to the box, only to find a load of wrappers.
DH will just put them out & scoff the lot !

Often have "family" choc around.BUT tesco only 2 mins away and the g&b is all mine. BTW their plain choc is heavenly with red wine.

We never get through all the chocolate in our house and we eat it every day. Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that our ´treats´cupboard is crammed full of chocolate & sweets (mainly for me & sometimes DH). I think if you don´t buy it often then you´re more likely to scoff it all at once. If you have loads in the house then you can take it or leave it ... or at least just eat a bit at a time.
