Hi Podmog. I'd persevere if I was you - my twin DDs (also 2.7) have been in pants for about a month now but the first couple of weeks were very hit and miss! We had an awful lot of accidents and I began to despair of them ever getting the hang of it but gradually each day got better, the accidents became less and they never have accidents now. At first I was tempted to put them back into pull ups to save our poor carpet but figured it would just be delaying the process so stuck with it - I'm now very glad I did. So stick with it - eventually it will suddenly click with her and there will be no going back! Good luck.

Podmog, what about going out with her and buying a child seat for the loo and a little step......thats how i did it with my dd as she refused the potty! We did have puddles at times and, but it seems like a good time to do it! Good luck

I agree with sandyballs to stick with it if you can but only as long as your dd is happy. At the first signs of distress stop.
I think it was my first attempt in potty training that led to my ds1 (at 2.8) developing a stutter. This lasted a couple of months and was very distressing (for us more than him). But when we tried the potty training again at 2.11 he took to it straight away.
