...play Jenga, properly? Dd managed a lot of turns before she knocked it over. In fact, she beat me twice and I'm quite good at Jenga! She also waited very patiently for her turn. We're so proud, simper, simper

Don't think my 3 year old could do that, he'd be the one knocking it down!

KaiserSoze · 18/12/2005 21:11

mine is into bonsai

roisin · 18/12/2005 21:11

I'm useless at Jenga
No hand-eye co-ordination at all!

tamum · 18/12/2005 21:12

I would say that was pretty damn impressive actually!

WickedWinterWitch · 18/12/2005 21:13

WickedWinterWitch · 18/12/2005 21:14

ISawFrannyandZooeyKissingSanta · 18/12/2005 21:26

Did she really do it WWW? I'm very impressed indeed.

I think being proud of your child is A Good Thing and we should have a special Boasting Thread to show off how great our children are.

WickedWinterWitch · 18/12/2005 21:34

She really did! I was very surprised. But now I think I'll shut up since I think this might be classed as boasting, which it most definitely is! (dh actually asked me to post though, to see if everyone could do it, which is rare )

I don't have a two-year-old, but the day he is, the very day I tell you, I shall see if he can

(He can build peek-a-blocks to his own arm-reaching-up height - does this count at all at 20mo? )

V impressed though!

ISawFrannyandZooeyKissingSanta · 18/12/2005 21:48

Well to be honest, ds was building scale models of world landmarks with Jenga at that age, but I'm sure your dd did very well really...

WickedWinterWitch · 18/12/2005 21:50

Is she good at all other fine motor skills WWW or is it an isolated thing?

BluStocking · 18/12/2005 22:38

Nope! DS could not have done this. She will be an expert safe-cracker, I think. Or brain surgeon, or pick-pocket!

But can I just say - simpering doesn't suit you, you're just not a simperer

WickedWinterWitch · 18/12/2005 23:23

ISF&ZKUTCT, I can't really think, she's only just started trying to cut up her own food so I suppose not. Anyway, thanks all! Blu, you're right, simpering isn't me, I don't know what came over me!

cranberryjampots · 18/12/2005 23:26

but what is her reading age?

very good

singersgirl · 19/12/2005 10:08

Neither of my sons could have done that at 2 and don't think they could now at 7 and 4. Well done your DD!
