This is a phase isn't it? 3.7 DD driving me up the wall!

She's whinging all the time. Won't do anything on her own. Her drawing's really good but at home she won't draw anything on her own. I have to draw. And colour. And cut out what I've drawn and if I do it 'wrong' she goes mad. I have had to ban jigsaws for the time being as she refuses to even try and tantrums when I do it 'wrong' (i.e. correctly!). I have to ask her 6,765 to do stuff.

I have a 6 mo DD2 who is starting to do interesting stuff (rolling at break-neck speed for example and trying to crawl) so is it likely that this has something to do with it? My MIL implies we are ignoring her (impossible!) and my parents imply that she's stupid and has behavioural problems. Sad

at the GPs reaction... [back with The Ark emoticon]

She sounds pretty normal to me, and I agree with you that the old sibling jealousy is rearing its head

I suspect my middle one is feeling a bit wobbly atm as the baby is 9m and starting to do loads

It's like they suddenly realise they (the baby) are a permanent fixture. For ever Shock

My mother has already decided that DD1 probably won't get on in life as she's not yet dry at night. Tis nothing new: whenever I got exam results at school it was always "where did that put you in the class". Even when I came top at stuff!!!!

Perfectly normal. DTs are 3.10 and can be axactly like you descibe. Some days they can't eve look at each other without it being wrong. Suspect it could alos be a little bit of sibling rivalry, she wants your attention and whining is the quickest way to get it.
Ignore GPs, they had their turn, just try to involve her in "teaching" the baby new things, give her a big sister role to fulfil and praise her to the heavens for it.

Good luck
