6 yo reading from right to left and writing in a mirror image, do I worry yet?

DD1 is 6 yo, and start reading (not in the UK so she is in advance compare to her peers and is not taught at kindergarden).
She often start right to left, like read "mooz" intead of "zoom".
She also write some letters the wrong way like Z (which I did till teenage Blush), b, d, e...
Her numbers are actually getting worse, she only has the 6 correct now (except 0 and 8 of course), all the others ones are mirrored.

Do I worry? How can I help?

I point it to her when it happens, but she always says "I know but
it is not important
I am right in adding
are the sounds OK
oh look a butterfly..."

She won't redo it, very stubborn child who think she learned everything on her own even if there were some earlier input.

TIA

This is often a developmental thing that children grow out of. You could try doing activities that involve going from left to right. When writing put a small arrow at the start of the line to remind her which direction. If you're worried talk to the school, they can probably suggest more.

Thanks, I do point out but she IS stubborn and always right Hmm.

The current school is not helpful as she is not supposed to write or read yet.

I supposed I can wait till next year when she enters an english system, but she will be in year 2, so afraid the teacher will not be willing to help.

The new school tested her in february when she just turned 6, and thought she was joining year 2 straight away, she was a bit behind on reading, advanced in maths, and they pointed out that she had some problems with directions, but she is worse now Confused.

My instinct is to let her be a child till september, and not to bother. But I have a niggling thought that I am letting her down.
On the other hand her teachers have no doubt that she will be able to catch up. Confused

When she enters the English system ask to talk to the senco and raise your concerns to make them aware. If she isn't being formally taught these skills at school yet then they aren't being reinforced enough. You should see an improvement when she is.
