you'd think I'd remember from ds1, but it's all a blur...

6mo dts have lost their happy bones, it seems. can't be put down to play with toys for more than a minute or two. even when held need to be carried around and shown things (and I can't carry two at a time doing that - they're too damn heavy!).

dt2 crawls drags himself across the floor, making loud sounds of frustration - do I let him get on with it (he will get less frustrated with practice) or help him to his destination? dt1 not happy because she can't yet move very fast (has worked out how to pull with her arms, not push with her legs). am finding it tough trying to entertain two all day, especially with baby groups closed for Easter.

reassure me: this just developmental and will get better soon, right?

It's just a phase, it will pass, they will soon be whizzing around joyfully leaving a trail of destruction behind them.

However, when my DS went through this phase, i cracked and got him a Jumperoo to help with the entertainment.

Mine got over that, only to decide that upright was the only way to be, and that required at least one of my fingers at all times (even when leaning on something else).. and the walker just isn't good enough, it must be a finger (and he's got quite a grip, so escaping is hard)

I've become rather immune to the inevitable tantrum when my back finally decides it's had enough and I lever my digit out of his sweaty little paw.

yes, my DS had a jumperoo too and solved all problems! It will soon pass though!
