he ll pull the dining chairs out and climb easily up onto the table.
i just am worn out liftig him, not so much worried about him falling - dh is - more the repetitve stubbornness of ds!

triplethefun my 13 months ds has just started doing exactly the same thing. So we have to keep the window in the bedroom shut at all times!

DD did that
So did DS. We went to homebase and he started climbing up the bunk beds. We were planning on replacing his bed with a normal one, but he sooo wanted the metal bunkbed.

THere's a sticker on it - not suitable for children under six years old. He's been in it since he was three.

DD and DS both play on it regularly. She's only fallen of it once.

my ds now looks like in was in a serious accident - due the multiple injuries he has inflicted upon himself since saturday

  1. bust his hand on sat even, lots of blood - big bandage which he persists in ripping off
  2. biggish bruise on Lhs of face
  3. massive bruise on rhs of face from hitting grate in dh's uncles house yesterday
  4. busted lip from fallling off chair tonight
  5. bump to forehead - another fall of a diff chair tonight

but your stories console me, he is normal

Blimey hermykne! He does sound like a serious mountaineer! My DS3 (also 15 months)loves climbing too. We went to visit my brother in Berlin last week and within half an hour of arriving DS3 had fallen backwards off the sofa bang onto a wooden floor. Ouch!
