Drooling at 3??

Dd is three in december, but she still drools a lot when she is speaking and often has a wee sore looking red chin because of it. Is this common? I havent noticed any other kids of about 2 years old at the mums and tots group who do it.

My dd2 is 4.2 and has only just stopped drooling although she now slurps it back in . She has seen an ENT dr who suspcets andonoids or tonsil probs but doesn't want to do anything unless it is a major prob.
Does your dd have probs with speech? Mine has very unclear speech.

My son used to be quite spitty. I think it was because he often had a blocked nose (which I since discovered was due to wheat and dairy intolerance) so he was constantly breathing through his mouth.

It's nowhere near as pronounced now (he's 5) but he still sprays a bit when talking.

yeah, my dd used to drool a lot at that age still. I asked my other dd's speech therapist about it, who reassured me that it is completely normal. I think she stopped at 4 or so.
