Ds1 is % (6 in May) and I would say is average on an affection scale.
Last Friday, in football, he kissed his friend (who is also in the same school class) From what I could see from the side lines, they were playing around, and suddenly his friend pushed him away, and kept avoiding him for the rest of the session. I thought at them time, that ds had coughed and forgotten to put his hand over his mouth. Ds wasn't the same during the rest of the session, not interested in what the coach was telling him etc.
It was only when we got home, and I just gave him a big cuddle, that he sobbed his heart out
He told me that he kissed friend, and basically his friend "went mad" (ds words) Told ds that he smelt of wee, and didn't want anything more to with him, and to keep away.
We had a little chat about kissing friends (because some friends might not like it), and to save our kisses for family. But ds is really worried about the name calling, and what will happen when he goes back to school.
I'm hopinh half term will mean it gets forgotten about, but any advice would be appreciated.
