When she wants t watch Shrek she asks for 'sket'

and 'found it' somehow comes out sunding like 'fuck it' - which is a joy in public places

Grin Is that how your toddler would pronounce the thread title? PMSL @ 'fuck it'.

2.4 yo DD is obsessed with animals, one of her favourites being a hippohoppomus. She also likes racing cars, especially Wiping A Queen from that Pixar movie.

Not funny but the Gruffalo is a Fuffalo and until yesterday Angry Birds was Hungry Birds. I nearly cried when my dad taught her the real name :(

I'll be devastated when she starts to pronounce things properly.

coatgate · 07/02/2011 15:31

eddeldubbing for bleeding (as in a cut, not swearing). I was quite impressed with that as it kind of had all the right sounds/letters but in the wrong order. She also used to say lellow for yellow.

appledumpling · 07/02/2011 15:31

We have helihopters, poon for spoon and clock was cock for a while. As TotorosOcarina said, fun in public places Grin.

DS's favourite fruit enjoyed in the summer whilst watching Wimbledon are sploblys.

BirdyBedtime · 07/02/2011 15:31

DS (2.1) has never said daddy - it's gaggy. DH gets very upset whenever he hears someone say that daddy is always the first word. We've tried to get him to say it properly and he can go 'd, d, d, gaggy'. It's really funny (to me anyway.

stewmaker · 07/02/2011 15:36

i used to say baksits and chinkers (baskets and chickens)

TotorosOcarina · 07/02/2011 15:42

Oh DS used to say that famous thomas phrase and 'stinders and asses'

DS(2.2) says kwangadoo instead of kangaroo and I hope it takes him years to pronounce it properly as it makes me smile every time he says it.

coldtits · 08/02/2011 17:33

Heppytopters for helicopters
Amberlote for envelope
Shoosers for shoes
