dd2 is nearly 20 months and still has one bottle a day. Any tips on how to get her to take this fron a cup? Everytime I try she cries and cries Sad.

Its not that she isnt used to the cup as she has everything else out of a cup, but she does ask for bottles sometimes I just say no and she seems ok with that, its just this last bottle.

Can you not keep it up for bit longer if it's just the one? Dd older but am bringing in the idea of bottle fairy who is about to swap her bottles for a scooter...

I might try that the problem is that I was planning the same thing for her dummy do you think that should be at the same time or diffrent times?

Around that age we needed to get my DD off the bottle. She wouldn't drink from a cup. So we just threw out every last bottle in the bin and told her we gave them away to other children/babies that needed them. She seemed to sort of understand but still had a tough time not getting the bottle and would cry for it and refuse a cup. But that only lasted 24-48 hrs, then she was fine and had forgotten about it! Although it took a week or two for her to fully adjust to using the cup. Oh and we bought a brand new cool cup for her to use right away and that helped. I would allow a couple weeks between the dummy and bottle but that's just my opinion and probably depends on how much she's attached to them.

The bottle is just her morning milk and the dummy stays in her bedroom and is just for sleep.

The problem with the morning milk is I dont give her breakfast and I dont want her to have nothing when she wakes up. Im more bothered about the bottle to be honest because she will be moving up a room in at nursery when she turns two and I know shes going to struggle with it so I think really she should still have it then.
