food, shopping out of the trolley in the supermarket, building blocks, dummies, anything he can get his hands on really.

Its the food that upsets me the most, imagine your lovingly cooked meal being lobbed at you in the middle of dinner. He was BLW but is now being mostly spoon and fork fed. he is starting to use a fork but also enjoys throwing that!

any ideas? I am getting fed up of hearing my stern voice saying no!!!

sorry, no real ideas but wanted you to know you're not alone. My DS (17months) does this - his water cup is a big favourite, plus his plastic toys which crash onto our wooden floor. he really hurls them! Apparently its a "boy" thing. I did read somewhere its because they find just letting go of something quite a difficult skill but not sure I believe that as he can put his cup down nicely. If its any help, he IS now starting to respond to cross NO!

Hope its just a phase!!

My DS did this too. He was just practising his trajectory schema www.thecedarsnursery.co.uk/trajectory.html (Note I have nothing to do wth this nursery, it was just the best description I could find). It drove me potty, but it was just a phase that lasted 2 or 3 months. He is now 2.1 and has started doing it again, but he accompanies it with a very sweet 'uh-oh dropped it!' It will pass!!

Thanks zero, yes I have one of those children!!

We had to duck to avoid his fork at dinnertime today, he would put his pasta in his mouth and launch it across the table.....

its all I can do not to laugh at him!!

It's a phase.

Just think how great your reflexes will be at the end of it (or, if you're like me, how trashed your carpet will be)
